(-lim-e-nā'shun.) [From L. elimino, I put out.] (Algeb.) The dispo e ing an equation of an unknown quantity. By use of this proce , an equation having only one unknown quantity is obtained from any number of equations having the same number of unknown quantities.-(Med.) The proce of excretion or absorption by the pores of the skin. [s. 325]
