kiir'dr-ak, -diacal, -di'ak-l, a. (Anat.) Pert, to or resembling the heart, also to the upper orifice of the stomach. Exciting action in the heart, through the medium of the stomach. — Car'diac, n. (Med.) A medicine which excites action in the stomach, and animates the spirits; a cordial.
