Perimeter

(pe-rim'e-tur.) [Gr. per i me treo, I measure all round.] (Geom.) The line which bounds a figure, whether circular, rectilinear, or mixed. In circular figures, instead of perimeter, we generally use the designation circumference of periphery. [s. 697]
