It corresponds to the suborbital foramen of human anatomy. It is frequently a formation so large and variable as to afford zoological characters, as is the case in the Rodent i a.- Anteorbital proce , in mammalian an at., a spur of the frontal bone on the anterior and upper portion of the margin of the orbit.
