[NL., Also Cribrella . cribellum (kri-bel'um), n.; pl. cribella (-a). [NL. use of LL. cribellum, a small sieve: see cribble, n.] An additional or acce ory spinning-organ of certain spiders. Also cribrellum. The Cinifionidæ have in front of the spinnerets an additional spinning-organ, called the cribellum.
