[Pref. un- (1), and Eng. stratified.] Geol.: Not deposited in strata, beds, or layers. unstratified-drift, s. Geol.: Boulder clay, till. [DRIFT, II. 2.] unstratified-rocks, s. pl. Geology: Rocks not deposited in strata, beds, or layers, but occurring in ma es, sometimes breaking through or overlapping the stratified rocks in their vicinity.
