Arnold Guyot, an ‘American educator; born in Princeton, N. J., March 4, 1864; was graduated at Princeton College in 1847, and at department of Greek at Princeton profe or of French and German in Miami University; in 1891-1897, a istant profe or of French in the Sheffield Scientific School of Yale University; and in 1897 accepted the chair of French at the John C. Green School of Science, Princeton.
