(a-trof-o-dur'mah) [G. atrophia derma, skin.] Atrophy of the skin. a. al'bidum [L. albidus, whitish], pityriasis alba atrophic ans, a congenital thinne of the skin with diminution of pigment, usually most marked on the legs and arms. a. neurit'icum, glo y skin.* a.pigmento'- sum, xeroderma pig men to sum, Kaposi's* disease. a. sen i'le, the lo of fat, increased pigmentation, and other involution ary changes in the skin in old age. a. stria'tum, the condition marked by the presence of lineae albicantes.
