Amygdaloid

(am-ig '-dal-oid). Like a tonsil, or almond. A. Fo a, the depre ion for the lodgment of the tonsil. A. Tubercle, a projection of gray or cortical matter at the end of the descending cornu of the lateral ventricle of the brain. It is attached to the temporal lobe, and appears to be nearly isolated by white substance.
