Hare and Hounds、Game of pursuit, in which one or two players, called Hares, start with a bag containing small pieces of paper, and drop the paper, called the Scent, as they go. The pursuers, called Hounds, follow after a fixed interval. The object of the game is the capture of the Hares, or in default of that to reach the end of the run first.
