Simulation

(sim-u-la's hun.) [From L. simulatio; from simulo, I a ume the appearance of.] The a umption of a deceitful appearance or character. It differs from di imulation, inasmuch as it a umes a false character, while di imulation only conceals the true one; but both are justly designated by the word hypocrisy. [s. 828]
