Charles Thomas ( only son of Charles Bodenham of Rother was park, near Here ford 1758–1826 ). b. 15 Feb. 1783; a member of the Roman Catholic board; chief supporter with Rev. Thomas Weld, afterwards Cardinal, of Dr. Milner in opposing the conce ions which it was proposed to make in regard to the oath. ( m. 25 Nov. 1810 Elizabeth Mary 5 dau. of Thomas Weld of Lulworth Castle, Dorset, she was b. 2 July 1789, and was author of Mrs. Herbert and the villagers or familiar conversations on the principal duties of Christianity 2 vols. 1853, 10 ed. 1878). d. 5 Dec. 1865.
