A way over water; an easement giving the right to pa over a piece of private water. Travel by sea; a voyage over water; the carriage ot pa engers by water; money paid tor such carriage. Enactment; the act ot carrying a bill or resolution through a legislative or deliberative body in accordance with the prescribed forms and requisites; the emergence of the bill in the form of a law, or the motion in the form of a resolution. PASSAGE COURT, An ancient court of record in Liverpool, once called the. "mayor's court of pays iage," but now usually called the "court of the pa age of the 1borough of Liverpool." This court was formerly held before the mayor and two bailiffs ot the borough, and had jurisdiction in actions where the amount in question exceeded forty shillings. Mozley & Whitley. [s. 885]
