Chief ancient Atheists were Diagoras, Bion, and Lucian chief modern, La Mettrie, Von Holbach, Feuerbach, Flourens, etc. There are three forms of it— Dogmatic, which a erts that there is no God sceptical, which a erts that the finite mind of man; cannot ascertain whether or not there is any God and critical, which a erts that no sufficient evidence; has yet been produced to prove the existence of a God.
