The Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia · 1897 · p. 61
[ nomotheta (no-moth'e-tä), n.; pl. nomothetæ (-tē). [NL.: see nomothete.] Same as nomo thete. If one should choose to suppose that the first and second of the measures just cited were formally ratified by the Nomothetæ, it would be hard to disprove it, though there is nothing in the record to favor the supposition. Amer. Jour . Philol ., X. 83.
