Twaddell (twodl)

[Named after its inventor.] A hydrometer graduated so that each division represents the same change of density. It is used for densities greater than that of water, and the exce above unity is found by multiplying by 5 and dividing by 1,000-that is, 200 divisions of the scale represent unity.
