, a king of Athens, son of Oxinthas, the last of the descendants of These us, who reigned at Athens. He was deposed because he refused to accept a challenge sent by Xanthus king of Bœotia, and was succeeded by a Me enian, B.C. 1128, who repaired the honour of Athens by fighting the Bœotian king.
