FRAME

General currency. A prearranged plan of action; a secret implying sinister intention; a “frame-up.” The contraction is used for greater secretivene , as is the case with all terms which have become the common property of both criminals and their enemies. Example: “What’s the frame for putting this one over? The lemon.”
