Quarter. Quarter (of compa ). The use of the word “quart ’”’ will be seen by referring to Nord, Sud, etc. Drinking ve el. Small barrel. Slope of lin 4. Portion of a unit on duty or in readine to move “ By”’ (in points of compa e.g., ’‘ Nord-est quart est”? = N.E. by E.). Watch (of ship).— Off icier de quart.
