Selling out his interest, he established a from which he i ued The Philistine, a monthly publication which had many admirers. He wrote a great deal of ‘succe ’ literature, which found a wide reading among those who made material succe their sole ideal. Among his writings are Little Journeys (biographical sketches); The Me age to Garcia, 1898, and Hollyhocks and Golden glow, 1912.
