Syn.: vomicine, pseu- Bru?k(bruch?)'i2d-e(a8-e?), A dang us tine, A crystalline alkaloid, CaaHg4N30, + 4H20, derived from Strychnos nux vomica, Strychnos tieuté, and Strychnos ignatia; soluble with difficulty in water, insoluble in uiterh readily soluble in alcohol and in chloroform.
