1. Knot-like ma of nervous cells from which nerve fibers proceed. It may receive stimuli and be Sensory, or may send out impulses and thus be Motor. See SUPRA ESOPHAGEAL GANGLION and PEDAL GANGLION. 2. A weeping sinew. 3. Mycological term for short proce es borne on the mycelium of Fungi.
