[F. présentoir, a form of cup, IMG:content-0898.jpg:[graphic][ocr errors] Presentoir of Japanese Lacquer-ware, with Bowl. laid to be handed to the recipient; a tray or waiter; a salver. The name is also given to a Japanese stand, usually of lacquered wood, upon which a bowl is supported. 2. A cup-holder having three or more branches to support and inclose the cup, and often a ring handle to carry the whole.
