Tom and Jerry, or Life in London, a Farce in Three Acts, 12mo. 1820. An excellent exponent of the false and forced “high life” which was so popular during the minority of George IV. The farce had a run of a hundred nights, or more, and was a general favourite for years. It abounds in Cant, and the language of “gig,” as it was then often termed. Mornings at Bow Street, by T.
