DaNTON

the founder of the Cordeliers Club, was born in 1759, and executed by Robes pierre in 1794. He organized and led the attack on the Tuilcnes, and brought Hebert and the Reason-worshippers to the scaffold. He owed much of his influence to his huge stature, great strength, and powerful voice.
