Heteroclite

[Fr. hétéroclite; Gr. heteroklitos heteros, another, and klitōs, bent, from klinō, to bend down, to decline.] That which is of a different declension. Any thing or person deviating from common forms. (Gram.) A word which is irregular or anomalous. Het'eroclite, Heteroclitic, Hetero clit'ical, a .
