Many of the mineral waters owe their value largely to the water rather than to the mincral they contain, though the public are slow to take a course of exclusive water drinking unle the water is in a more or le offensive condition. Water increases the flow of sweat, urine, and bile, and thus promotes the removal of waste bodies, many of which if retained are isonous.
