HE IN RICH VON, ( dan'nek -ker,) a celebrated German sculptor, B. at Waldenbach, near Stuttgart, 1758. He was a pupil, first of Pajou, and then of Canova, and spent several years in Italy. His most celebrated works are: a colo al statue of Schiller; a monument to Count Zeppelin; Sappho; Ariadne; Christ, . D. in 1841. Dannemo'ra, in New York , a village and township of Clinton co., about 14 m. W. by N. of Plattsburg. A State prison is located here.
