[Also sufiistic; The point of view indicated by the Sufiistic system of philosophy. Encyc. Brit ., ΧΙ. 368. sug (sug), n. [Origin obscure.] An unidentified parasite of the trout, probably an epizoic crustacean. Also called trout - louse. Many of them [trout] have sticking on them Sugs, or Trout-lice, which is a kind of Worm, in shape like a Člove, or Pin with a big head, and sticks close to him and sucks his moisture. I.
