snap tool (snaptol)

A tool used in forming rivet-points. It consists of a hollow cup of steel welded to a punch-head for striking upon. snapweed (snap'wed), п. See Impatiens. The lock and ap snapworkt (snap werk) purtenances of a snaphance or hackbut. Betwixt the third couple of towers were the butts and marks for shooting with a snap - work gun, an ordinary bow for common archery, or with a cro -bow.
