dove house (duvhous)

A dove-cote. Shak. dovekie (duv'ki), n. [Appar. Dovekie ( Mergulus alle ). breed in some places in countle numbers. It is about 8 inches long, web-footed, three-toed, with short wings and tail and short stout bill, the body glo y blue-black above, with white scapular stripes, ends of secondaries white, and the under parts mostly white.
