Phosphates: especially of sodium, as a constitutional agent. Pota ium Chlorate: as an alterative. Poultices: to relieve pain and hasten maturation. Pyoktanin. Silver Nitrate: strong solution painted over the skin round boil. Strapping: properly applied gives great relief. Subcutaneous Incisions. Sulphides: in small doses to abort or hasten maturation. Sulphites. Sulphur Waters. Solution Gutta-Percha. Unguentum Hydrargyri: early applied around will prevent sloughing.
