He is a trustee of Boston University (since 1874), of Wellesley College (since 1876), and of Cushing Academy, Ashburnham, Ma . (since 1877), and was of Wesley an University, Middle town, Conn., from 1870 to 1881. He is the author of Temptation, Boston, 1840, 2d ed.
