Irritable

(ir'-it-ab-l). Easily in named. Susceptible to irritation. I. Bladder, a condition of the bladder marked by constant desire to void urine. I. Breast, a neuralgic condition of the mammary gland, usually a ociated with uterine affections, or with intercostal neuralgia. I. Heart, Da Costa's term for a peculiar condition of the heart characterized by precordial pain, dyspnea on exeru tion, palpitation, and irregularity of the heart's action. It is induced by over-exertion, masturbation, and neurotic tendencies. Hypertrophy may occasionally develop. I. Spine, a condition of spinal anemia frequently occurring in young hysteric females. There is pain along the spine, with tenderne on pre ure, and vertigo, nausea, palpitation, and neuralgias. I. Testicle. See Testicle. I.
