[Gr. long chid i on =a small spear; Ger. lonchidit.] Min.: A mineral which, judging from its analyses, would appear to be a mixture of marcasite and lonchitis mispickel (q. v.). Found in tin-white crystals (Ger. kausimkies ), and ma ive in Saxony and Cornwall. Dana includes it under marcasite.
