Chrome, krome, kro -me-um, 5 s. mark able a greyish-white for the metal beauty, reandvariety of the colours of its compounds. Chrome colour,a colour from a chromate, or one in the form of powder. Chrome green, a dark green pigment, from the oxide of chromium. Chrome yellow, the artificial chromate of lead, a beautiful yellow pigment.
