c. phlyctenulosa malign a

A form of c. in which the vesicles are distinctly larger than in the simple form of the disease, and involve the cornea from the start, c. phlyctenulosa miliaris. A form of c. in which the vesicles are multiple and very small, like little sandy prominences, extending all round the corneal margin, and even upon the cornea itself, croupous c. That variety of c. which is characterized by the formation of a more or le extensive membrane upon the surface of the conjunctiva of the lids, diphtheritic c. A disease characterized by a rapid and very marked swelling of the lids, due to a more or le extensive infiltration, not only of the conjunctiva, but also of the other ti ues of the lids. drug c.
