Pilobolus (piloboʻlus)

[NL., pilocarpine (pī-lō-kärpin), n. [ Pilocarpus (pi-lō-kär'pus), n. [NL. (Vahl, 1796), thers, smooth ovary-lobes, and one-seeded cells, and by the complete numerical symmetry of the flower in circles of fours and fives. The 12 species are natives of the West Indies and tropical America. They bear pellucid-dotted leaves, either thin or coriaceous, pinnate or of one to three leaflets, alternate, opposite, or whorled.
