Suit

sut, n. Act of suing; proce by which one endeavors to gain an end or object; endeavor; attempt to win a woman in marriage; courtship. (Law.) An action or proce for the recovery of a right or claim; prosecution of right before any tribunal. A retinue; company of attendants or followers; the individuals collectively considered which constitute a series, as of rooms, buildings, cards, etc.; a number of things used together, and in a degree nece ary to be united, in order to answer the purpose: a set. — v. t.
