Port-au-Prince

(port-o-pranz,) a seaport of the island of Hayti, and C. of that republic, on the Bay of Go naives, in N. Lat. 18° 35', W. Lon. 72° 18'. It has a good harbor and considerable commerce. Pop. 21,000.
