(hooz). Sheep-cough. A disease of sheep, lambs, etc., due to the presence of Strongyl us filar ia, a nematode worm, in the lungs and air pa ages (see under Parasites, Animal), and characterized by a husky cough, anorexia, dry muzzle, constipation, and dyspnea.
