[TRACHELIPODA.] Any individual of the order Trachelipoda (q. v.). *trā-che-lip-o-da, s . pl . [Greek trachēlos the neck, and pous (gen it. podos )=the foot.] Zoology: An order of Mollusca, established by Lamarck, and divided into two groups: (1) Carnivorous, (2) Feeding on plants. The order was approximately equivalent to the Prosobranch i at a (q. v.) of Milne Edwards. tra-che-lip-o-do us, a . [English trachelipod ; -ous.] Pertaining or belonging to the Trachelipoda; having the foot united with the neck.
