A son of one's nephew or niece: correlative to granduncle and grandaunt. grandne (grand'nes), n. The quality of being grand; grand; greatne ; grandeur; magnificence. In order to prove to any one the grandne of this fabric of the world, one needs only bid him consider the sun with that insupportable glory and lustre that surrounds it. W.
