Powell

(David), a Welch divine and antiquary, born in Denbighshire about 1552, educated at Oxford, where he took his degree of D. D. He died in 1590, and was buried in the church of Ruabon in Denbighshire,’ of which he was vicar, He published Caradoc’s history of Wales with annotations in 1584, and some other works.
