One who dre es, trims, prunes, and cultivates vines. 2. The larva of a sphingid moth, Ampelophaga ( Darapsa or Everyx ) myron. It cuts off the leaves of the vine in the United States, and also sometimes sev half-grown bunches of grapes. vine-feeder (vin fe der),. Any insect which feeds upon the grape-vine.
