[Ital, ba o and con tinuo = continual.] Continued or thoroughba , i.e., the figured ba written continuously throughout a movement, for the use of the player on a harpsichord or organ. [BASS (3).] ba o rilievo, ba o - relievo, S. [Ital.] [BAS RELIEF.] ba o-ripieno, s . [Ital. ba o and ripieno = full, filled.] The ba of the grand chorus, which comes in only occasionally.
