skimmer ton (skimerton)

Same as skim Skimmia (skim'i-ä), n. [NL. (Thunberg, 1784), ranged in crowded and much-branched terminal panicles. S. Japonica, a dwarf holly-like shrub, is cultivated for the ornamental effect of its dark shining leaves and clusters of bright-red berry-like drupes.
