pop, n. A small, quick sound or report; a beverage which i ues with a slight explosion, from the bottle containing it. — v. i. [popped (popt), -ping.] To make a pop, or sharp, quick sound; to enter, i ue forth, with a sudden motion; to move from place to place suddenly. — v. t. To push or thrust suddenly, bring suddenly to notice; to cause to expand and burst suddenty with heat, as corn. — adv. With sudden entrance; suddenly.
