[Maori.] Bot .: The native name of Freycinetia banksii , one of the Pandanacem eaten in New Zealand. kiēl-mey-er-a, s. [Named after C. F. D. Kielmeyer, a great patron of botany.] Bot.: A genus of Ternstromiaceae. It consists of resinous Brazilian shrubs or small trees.
