Newton's Laws of Motion

1. Every body perseveres in its state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, except in so far as it is made to change that state by external forces. 2. The change in the motion of a body is numerically equal to the impulse which produces it, and is in the same direction. 3. To every action there is developed an equal and opposite reaction.
